Friday night I invited them to join me and a group of friends at Painting with a Twist for an unofficial ladies night. It was a risky move inviting the Girlies to join in this Ladies outing because no one will out you faster than your kids - as any parent can tell you.
So far I think I got lucky and survived with all my friendships intact. I did make a point of sitting away from the Girlies mostly so I did not kick into Mother Mode. For this evening we were just a group of Nine Ladies having a lovely evening painting.
You can see the focus and concentration on the faces of those painting...
And the finished products were quite lovely too.
